Photography allows me to capture and preserve moments, such as yesterday when my cousin GOT ENGAGED!! Everyone in the family knew this moment was coming eventually, and the Fourth of July was the moment Jarrett asked Loetta to marry him.

Getting to see these two grow as a couple has been one of the best things over the years. It's so easy to see how much they love each other, and whether through good times or the more challenging ones, they've gone through everything head on, together.

I love you both so much, and again, CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I got to photograph the fabulous Judy as her family celebrated her 80th Birthday today! It's clear she has many wonderful people in her life, and it was fun to hang out with her and all of them for a couple of hours this morning/afternoon.
