These two photographs were taken Friday June 12th, near Chilhowie, VA. The view seen here is an overlook of Skulls Gap, from an overlook area that my daughter and I had stopped at on the way to Grayson Highlands State Park.

This photograph was taken Friday June, 12th from a scenic overlook near Erwin, Tennessee, off I-26, right after going over the North Carolina/Tennessee border when taking my daughter on a surprise trip to see wild ponies and a waterfall at a state park in Virginia.

*Updated to give correct information from where the photograph was initially taken. I have another similar photograph from the view point across the street from the parking area to Craggy Gardens, and had mixed up the two initially when writing for the post for this photograph. Both are stunning, to me, and unique, and I am sharing the other photograph on here as well.*

June 6th, of this year, I drove out into the Blueridge Parkway to explore Craggy Gardens, and took the long way back around to come home. This is a photograph taken of the overlook to Graybeard Mountain, who’s elevation 5,365 feet, where as the overlook stands at 5,592 feet.

Taken in Myrtle Beach, SC, on May 27th of this year, when spending time with my father, step-mom, and daughter. It had just finished raining not too long before from the storms that had come through the area due to the tropical storm that had landed down in Charleston, and the sun was setting, leaving this beautiful view.

Quarry Falls and Bust Your Butt Falls (they are right there at one another), Fairfield Lake where there was some small access with the sun setting, and Cullasaja Falls from the road side view point. All of these were taken with my cellphone, May 2, 2020. There are others taken with my camera, which I shall share soon!

My daughter and I visited this waterfall on April 22, 2020. This waterfall is located outside the Cashiers/Highlands area, and is named Cashiers Sliding Rock. This particular photograph is a quick cell phone shot. More to come from this outing soon!
