They Did It! 👩‍🎓🧑‍🎓

There were endless study sessions, skipping meals, and plenty of decisions to be made. And now, their efforts have culminated, and all of their hard work has finally paid off! They can now call themselves Graduates of the Class of 2026 of The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences. 🎉🎊

Last Friday, it was my honor and privilege to photograph these happy graduates at their Commencement Ceremony. This is just part of their story that I have been able to help them tell. I started with their White Coat Ceremony back in 2022 when they first started their medical school journey. Last year, I photographed them for their official graduation photos/residency appliation photos. Friday became a full circle moment for me and the UToledo Med Class of 2026, and I am grateful to be a part of this stage of their careers.

April is designated as National Child Abuse Prevention Month in the United States, a time to raise awareness and prevent child abuse. The Exchange Club of Sylvania in partnership with The City of Sylvania Police Department, The Village of Ottawa Hills Police Department, and The Sylvania Township Police Department stand united in the fight against child abuse and neglect. The Exchange Club of Sylvania has generously donated care bags for patrol officers to disseminate when responding to a time of crisis involving children. The contents of the bags include comfort items such as stuffed animals, blankets, and coloring books. This month encourages communities to work together to support families and create safe environments for children. Together, we are committed to raising awareness, supporting families, and protecting the children in our community. Prevention starts with all of us.💙

What most people don't realize is that a bridal show is not just for couples that are planning their weddings. Bridal shows are also where vendor relationships are formed and built, and the Toledo Wedding Industry is no different.

We love meeting new vendors and catching up with ones we've known and worked with at weddings and events in the past. We even love meeting other photographers and photo boothers in our area.

At yesterday's bridal show at we talked about trends, shared creative ideas to solve problems, and invested time getting to know other wedding professionals.

Yes, the main reason vendors are at a bridal show is to market ourselves to the couples who are looking for our services. But when we all work together, we make the weddings better for the couples who hire us!

This is another reason why it is so important to hire professionals! Professionals are there to help the couple and make them feel relaxed and able to enjoy their day. Knowing who we are working with helps make the process much smoother!

Of course we had a fun experience at our Bridal Show Booth. We love creating fun ways to involve everyone and to ensure that they have a great time. Happy vendors are more fun to talk to! For this bridal show, we used AI to create these fun caricatures.
