There are certain locations that seem to tell a story before the camera even comes out—and this was one of them.
The combination of moss-covered stone, soft natural light, and a confident pose created an image that feels timeless, authentic, and full of character.

One of the things I enjoy most about portrait photography is finding the balance between the environment and the person in front of the lens. When those elements come together, the result is something that feels genuine rather than posed.

What an incredible afternoon on the lacrosse field! 🥍
It was truly an honor to be invited to photograph this local middle school team and capture the energy, effort, and determination these athletes bring to every play. From hard-fought faceoffs to breakaway runs and relentless hustle, these players left it all on the field and made every moment worth documenting.

Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans and the game was cut short by the rain, but not before these athletes gave us plenty to cheer about and photograph. The score may not have been settled, but the passion, teamwork, and sportsmanship were on full display.

Thank you to the players, coaches, and families for welcoming me to be a small part of the day. Even with the weather, it was a blast and I can't wait to be back on the sidelines soon.
