Becoming Chip’s mom has changed me in every possible way. This year stretched me, humbled me, softened me and taught me more about love than I knew was possible.

Motherhood has been the most transformative experience. It’s changed the way I move through the world and the way I love. Every decision I make now begins with him. His safety, his joy, his little world. And through it all, being his mom has become the greatest privilege of my life.

He’s taught me patience, presence, resilience and a kind of love that feels impossible to explain until you live it. Watching him grow has made me grow too.
