33

I turned 33 yesterday—though it didn’t feel like much of a jump since I’ve been thinking I was 33 all year.

This birthday brought a lot of reflection. Life has changed so much in the past three years, and I’m deeply grateful for the life I get to live. We’re safe, we’re fed, we have a home full of love, and we’re surrounded by people who we love and love us. Our kids are mostly healthy. We are mostly healthy. And that’s everything.

This year brought some hard moments— but it also brought strength, growth, and deep gratitude. I’m especially thankful for the people who showed up, for the ones who love our kids like their own, for the quiet, steady support of family and friends.

My husband—my best friend and steady foundation. I couldn’t do any of this without him.
Our families—for showing up and making beautiful memories with our kids.
My girls- Suz, Jena, Sami, Sarah, Kailyn. The MVPs. The ones who tag in for kid duty, emotional support, snack sharing, and general life-saving.
Caroline-My bestie and unofficial 24/7 ER nurse. She has triaged me over the phone, offered midnight emergency room runs and known about every maybe-baby and every heartbreak that follows . She’s my calm in the chaos.
My sister—thank you for always accepting me just as I am and for being a phone call away to vent. You know all the deepest darkest parts of me.
My clients—thank you for trusting me year after year and keeping my small business going. Special thanks to Andrea for all the “Hot Moms Club” referrals. 💛

My hope for this year is to make family my top priority. Do scary things, try new things and be unapologetically me.

Oh and golf, lots of golf.
