I love Jesus with all my heart and try to live my life according to his will. I am so thankful for the gift of artistry that he’s given me. I get it feels weird…

Why have a self portrait? There are so many reasons!

But what comes to the top of my mind is legacy, journey, and confidence.

I want my kids and grandkids, and great grandkids to have artwork of me. I want them to point to my portrait and share who I was and my legacy.

We are all on a journey, and ALL seasons should be documented. I love seeing pictures of my grandparents on their wedding day, or when they just had their baby. When I see those images they are tangible, I get to touch it, see and feel how old and precious it is.

Seeing yourself in a professional portrait as artwork makes you feel something, I have heard it and seen it from my clients when they see themselves. It’s beautiful.

That’s the why.

Let’s bring back the artwork!
