When “timeless” is the goal, film is my favorite way to accomplish it. It has already stood the test of time, and there’s something about the way they look that transports you to that moment.

As more and more of my feed becomes film, it felt important to tell you why it means so much to me 🤍

This Olympic National Park elopement was a dream from start to finish. Private vows in a secluded forest that’s existed longer than I can even comprehend. Running along the coast with the list perfect golden sunset. And walking back with lanterns as the moon witnessed their marriage 🤍

When I started looking for my own wedding photographer, I had an unexpected realization.

Yes, I wanted beautiful images. But more than anything, I wanted someone who felt kind. Someone who I felt safe being myself with.

Because your wedding photos are about so much more than aesthetics. They become emotional time capsules that live on for all of time.

Something I think a lot of people don’t realize is that the way you feel while they’re being taken is often exactly what you feel when you look back on them years later.

That’s why I believe empathy is one of the most valuable qualities a photographer can have.

Technical skill matters.
Artistry matters.

But making people feel safe, comfortable, and truly seen is what creates photos that are not only timeless, but also priceless 🤍
