Finding someone to support your health can feel incredibly personal—and incredibly overwhelming.
You can read credentials and online reviews, but it’s difficult to know whether someone will listen, communicate and treat you like an individual.
Here are five wellness professionals I’ve built relationships with through BNI’s A-Team:
Amanda Anuraga with Tacoma East Asian Medicine offers acupuncture, massage, cupping, nutrition and herbs through an inclusive, patient-led approach.
Dr. Anna Chang with Onsight Physical Therapy provides one-on-one physical therapy, post-surgical rehabilitation, dry needling and physical-therapist-led strength training. She also specializes in climbing rehabilitation and performance.
Dr. Paul Martin with Brilliant Life Chiropractic provides gentle, individualized chiropractic care for adults, children and families.
Mary Verbovski with Verbovski Wellness brings an extensive professional background in nutrition, family wellness, weight management and cancer survivorship.
Rebecca Roberts with Whole Being Wellness Massage offers massage, deep-tissue work, lymphatic drainage, prenatal massage, craniosacral therapy, Reiki and other restorative modalities.
I’m sharing these names because choosing a wellness provider shouldn’t have to begin with a blind search. These are people who participate in our community, build long-term relationships and remain accountable to the people who confidently refer them.
If you would like an introduction to any of them, send me a message.
And if you’re a Tacoma-area business owner who would like to meet our group, the A-Team meets Thursdays at 7:00 AM at Tower Lanes on Sixth Avenue. Visitors are welcome and need to pre-register. Breakfast is on me!
