Why I do what I do. 🤎

I didn't get into photography to take pretty pictures. I got into it because I kept meeting people — barbers, chiropractors, landscapers, folks who pour everything into a business most people drive right past — and I realized how many of them had no idea how to show the world what I could see plain as day.

That's the whole job, to me. Not fancy gear. Not perfect lighting. Just helping a good person look like the real, capable, trustworthy human they already are — so the right customers finally find them.

Every small business is somebody's leap of faith. I get to help it land.

That's why I do this.

"I'm just not photogenic." I hear it before almost every shoot — and it's almost never true.
Feeling awkward in front of a camera is completely normal, and it doesn't mean you'll look awkward. That part's my job. With a little movement, something to do with your hands, and a real conversation going, the stiffness melts away faster than you'd think. You don't need to be a model — you just need to show up.

Got to capture the shop while my boys got haircuts. Watching Stewart work, one thing stood out: he handle every age and every style with the same easy skill. A kid's wiggly first haircut, a clean fade, a full restyle — no problem, no fuss.
