This…thing… I’m doing is changing a lot.
When I first found my niche in the concert world, that’s all I wanted to do. It still is, for the most part, but my world has opened up. I’ve come to the realization that culture and counterculture as a whole are what truly spur my creative grind.
I also became more observant of the work people I respect have done. Greats like never stopped at the stage. Their backstage, studio, and even living room pictures have perhaps spoken to us more over the years. People like have built their entire, very impressive, body of work documenting the subject which forms the foundation around which all the music, movies, and other art move. The people.
Don’t get me wrong. I still want to tell the story of the band on stage, but my interest in telling all the smaller stories around them is growing. My interest in shooting pictures simply for the sake of pushing my creative boundaries is higher than it has ever been.
I don’t know where this leads, and the Instagram feed might get a little wonky for a while.
I hope though, that you look at my photos and wish nothing more than to find your own good time!
