PJ PEREZ for City Commission Seat 3! Incase you’ve missed… my husband, PJ Perez, is running for City Commission Seat 3. In efforts to keep this short I’ll simply tell you, he’s a history teacher (15 years in the school system here), first generation Cuban American, an incredible dad to our kids, a wonderful friend to people he met when he first moved here over 20 years ago, a lover of music, arts, culture, critical thinking, education, his students, basketball, history, people, community, fairness, diplomacy, challenges etc...

That’s my dude! And if you are IN the city limits and can vote in the primary on TUESDAY AUGUST 18th, look for PJ on the ballot. When he makes it to the runoff, the next vote will be in November :)

Needless to say, the year has been wild. I’m really thankful for the kind words from many of you, the offers of help and donations! I’ve seen them! Speaking of donations, I’m SO proud to say that PJ has garnered over 400 individual contributions from real people here in Tallahassee — and zero from transactional interests’ corporate entities.

I encourage you to read more about what PJ is bringing to the table for the city we love but a city we want to be better. As someone born here, that’s where I stand with Tallahassee. Love it but let’s do better.
