I want to spend hours with you OWLVER again.. 🦉🤭

In the presence of owls, the feeling I get is so magical. I feel so much weight lifted off my shoulder when I am around them. I’ve had many up close encounters and wish I could have captured them all. Just having a moment with them is more than I could ask for. I always hope to see an owl every time I go out on a hike. I follow the sound of their calls hoping to get a glimpse of one. The times I don’t get to see them I just imagine if there’s more than one or how big or how small it could be that makes a sound so loud and vibrating throughout the woods. I could go on and on! Anyways, check out this sleeping beauty, I got to spend a few hours with it. ✨

Balinese long-tailed macaque.

I loved observing these little monkeys, they’re so interesting and all have their own little personalities. They were always up to something, chasing each other around, or watching them groom one another.

This forest is a sanctuary and even a natural habitat of the Balinese long tailed macaque. There is about 1260+ monkeys that reside in the temples that are sacred.
In Hinduism, monkeys are considered to be sacred, they are known to rid of all evil spirits.

It was amazing seeing all the monkeys at this specific spot because none of them are caged and they could roam as they please but they always go back or stay within that area. They do get fed here; they like to eat lots of sweet potatoes, corn, and eggs. They’re pretty smart creatures and every encounter was just so cool! I had one crawl to the top of my head and sit on my shoulder but also tried pickpocketing me..

I feel like the universe is speaking to me, lately I’ve been having odd but amazing things happening. I am very in-tuned with nature, it’s always so magical. I dreamt about finding this ghost pipe plant, before I found it the passed few days I was thinking about it so much randomly. I even spoke about it with some people and even said that one of my close friends will be there to find it with me. It all seemed unreal when Brandon Howard Photography and I stumbled upon this rare delicate flower.

It was mind blowing, especially when I expressed to him that we will find the flower one day. Seconds before finding it I was LITERALLY showing him pictures of it on google. Saying it’s on my bucket list of rare things to find in nature. We couldn’t believe our eyes when it was spotted. This moment I’ll never ever forget, I felt like it was put in my path for a reason. I know this may seem lame to others but this meant so much to me. I will cherish that moment forever. I finally found the plant (after 7 years) I’ve been dying to find and I am just so happy. I wish I could spend more time with it’s beautiful presence. 🤩

-blooms for one week annually
(Do not pick the plant! I know it is medicinal but I highly suggest to not pick it) 😌

Luna Moth 💚✨

This was the first Luna I found alive, I would always find dead ones. When coming across this beautiful moth, it just felt so magical. I appreciate all the beautiful creatures that Mother Nature let’s us encounter.

This is an Old Man of the Woods, also known as Strobilomyces strobilaceus or Strobilomyces floccopus (scientific names)! It is a type of bolete mushroom found in Florida. It is also an edible fungi, I’ve never personally tried it. I do love finding & admiring them. 🖤🍄

A stunningly beautiful Eastern Diamond Back rattlesnake, I haven’t found one in so long! A lot of people are afraid of snakes when in reality they’re just afraid of you as you are of them. They want to be left alone and mind their own business. This one was about 3-4 ft long and very healthy. 🐍

Here is a macro shot of Honey mushrooms! I love finding clusters! These are also edible 🙂 I haven’t foraged any wild mushroom yet but one day I plan on it.

A curious alligator at Myakka River State park in Sarasota, FL. I hope this beauty doesn’t become a nuisance due to humans harassing/feeding it, I wish humans would just leave animals be.
