Memorial weekend family gathering down in Sanibel. What a beautiful setting with it's pristine beaches, plethora of seashells and of course sunshine! Took some time out to capture a few casual family pictures as well. Feeling truly blessed in so many ways.

Finally made it to Niagara Falls. What an incredible side trip from Perrysburg, OH (visiting our amazing 93 year old aunt)to the Great Niagara Falls. The falls did not disappoint. Interesting fact, my parents honeymooned in Niagara Falls probably 81 years ago. Apparently it's dubbed the "Honeymoon Capital of the World." Who knew!?! Regardless, it's definitely a "must see anytime destination" in my book.

In commemoration of Mother's Day-a shoot for just the "moms." Such a lovely family and what a special time to capture. I have to mention here that in the first photo the little one is actually looking, and quite intently, at a photo album of pictures from her first year. Grandmother and photographer-how lucky am I? What a lovely shoot capturing my granddaughter as she was preparing to leave for her Father/Daughter Dance at SMS. So special. She's growing up way too fast. Bittersweet to say the least.

What a beautiful event I recently had the pleasure of photographing at Nova Southeastern University in Clearwater. The Arthritis Foundation's Soiree by the Bay was not only fun and entertaining but very successful-raising over $100,000 for the foundation. A big thank you to Jenn Munchel, Arthritis Foundation Development Manager in Tampa, for giving me the opportunity to support this very worthy organization. It truly does such important work providing education and support to families dealing with this crippling disease. Who knew that arthritis is the leading cause of disability in this country? Just a few photos from a meet up with the Sarasota Photography Group at Phillippi Park in Sarasota. Under the guidance of Keith Baumbaugh, a professional photographer, we worked on portraits. It's so helpful getting on the spot feedback when it comes to photography. Plus, having a subject who's comfortable in front of the camera is a huge bonus. Didn't walk around the park at all but there are a lot of mature trees providing some large swaths of shade. Always great for late morning/afternoon shoots. https://bwalsh.photography

It's spring and t-ball is in "full swing." South Tampa Little League-the Crawdads vs the Biscuits. Capturing these 4/5 year olds was almost too much. Big shout out to the coaching staff. What a fun weekend traveling down to Ft. Myers for the Spring Classic. Lucky me. I got to work on my sports photography and watch my grandson's team (Tampa DME 2016) win first place in their age group. Anyway, I was in awe of these kids who all played with such incredible intensity and skill. Impressive-to say the least. https://bwalsh.photography

Another fun filled, community building event at Encore I recently had the pleasure of photographing. "Sunset Sounds" couldn't have been smoother with musician Al Chisolm performing for attendees' listening pleasure. I have to say, the "March Madness" fever was spiking with the basketball inflatable rental provided by Iturri Rental, LLC. A big thank you to Chef Simone's Kitchen for providing the delicious sliders. What a fun evening for the Encore Community put together by CDM Marketing. From Minnie Mouse to Taylor Swift. A lot of big changes to birthday celebrations from age 3 to age 5. Who knew!?! So adorable watching/photographing this group of 4-5 year olds interact with the one and only Taylor Swift! And Taylor was so "hands on" with face painting, temporary tattooing and hair sparkles. Doesn't get much cuter than this. Taylor Swift (from Stark Entertainment) was the absolute best I've seen engaging with children at a birthday celebration. What a pleasure it was capturing this very special celebration. https://bwalsh.photography
