I’m Valerie, the woman behind Focal Vibez. 📸

I’ve been behind the camera since 2016, and apparently I’m much better at making sure everyone else has beautiful photos of themselves than I am at keeping updated ones of me. 😅 So instead of waiting for the perfect new headshots… you’re getting regular ol’ me.

If you’re new here, hiiii 🫶🏼 I’m a Tampa Bay photographer specializing in portraits, couples, maternity, families, branding, events and all the moments in between.

My approach has always been pretty simple: I want you to look like you. I love natural skin, real moments, genuine connection and photos that still feel like you years from now.

Sometimes we get so wrapped up in the day-to-day that we forget to stop and really take it all in. 🥹

Then somehow, before we know it, our babies aren’t babies anymore. They’re graduating, building lives of their own, having babies of their own… and you’re left wondering where all that time went.

That’s why photos mean so much to me. Because sometimes, the pictures we take are all we have left of a moment that we can never get back, a little piece of time we get to hold onto forever. 🤎

Take the pictures. Even when life is busy. Even when everything isn’t perfect. One day, you’ll be so glad you did.
