Back in the office officially after a good solid week off celebrating with family and friends and then recovering šŸ˜… back to the swing of things and excited to share this stunning proposal I did last month! Lots of content incoming after a busy spring. A couple weeks back I headed up to Gainesville for my semi-annual weekend of shoots and got to reconnect with 6 different families to capture so many special milestones. Truly one of the biggest honors is having clients come back to me again and again through all seasons of life.

Iā€™ll always say weddings are my specialty, but honestly, the thing closest to my heart is returning clients. Nothing means more than being trusted to keep documenting your stories as your families grow and change over the years.

Imposter syndrome is such a weird thingā€”and honestly, I hate it.

I know trends change. Styles evolve. And sometimes I catch myself feeling ā€œoldā€ for not loving where things are goingā€¦ while also not wanting to change what Iā€™m deeply passionate about.

And then I have sessions like this.

Clients who donā€™t second guess choosing me after seeing my work. Who I instantly click withā€”like this engagement sessionā€”and it reminds me exactly why I do this.

Itā€™s the biggest reminder to stay true to yourself. Because there are people out there saving your work, hoping youā€™re the one they get to book.

And that means everything šŸ¤

You two may be in Greece on your honeymoon (lucky!), but I couldnā€™t resist a sneak peek post of this stunning garden inspired wedding. The day called for rain, instead it brought the most whimsical breezy weather that was so fitting for the theme. Watching the Spanish moss sway with the storm under the big oaks of Kanapaha was a total vibe. The day was so beautiful and intimate and I had a lovely time hanging out with all your family and friends. Thank you and for trusting me to capture your day.
