*This was a beautiful and intimate, 10 year wedding renewal. Lisette and Juan, arranged a private picnic set-up, exchanged their renewal vows alongside their two children, and enjoyed a playful sunset session after.
Thankful to now call the Garcia Family, friends of mine.

Scarlett is 100% pumped walk around the neighborhood this year. She really got into the Halloween spirit over the last month, and even convinced me to watch Hocus Pocus, for the first time! She's been watching the original 90's movie on repeat.

Real talk. Who woke up to snow this morning?! Let's see those white wonderland photos below.

A handful of friends/family are giving me the full experience, by sending me photos/videos.

Just a week ago, I was in awe of the fall foliage popping up on my feed, but I will run the other direction when I see the green grass disappear. Byyyyeeeee!

Also, this gorgous session was in the midst of a storm, and after we waited it out in cars, we were given the most amazing sky. Yes, itโ€™s all real; the colors kept changing! Whether you're a client in MN or FL, this is an example of why we don't let the forecast shoo us away.

Fall colors are filling my feed, and I'll admit, I miss Minnesota this time of year. My father-in-law sent some cheer to my daughter though; a package filled with 10 little pumpkins from his garden! She's determined to paint them all, and make our home, "Spooky".

From Bonita Springs, I watched the sun rise as it painted a colorful sky across the dark buildings in Fort Myers. (first photo)

It's hard to digest the catastrophic damage Florida faced, just days ago. It was supposed to be our area in Tampa Bay, which is why my family and I headed south to stay at my Mother/Father in-laws....but inevitably closer to the eye of the storm. We were the lucky ones, with only our car totaled as the least of our worries. The neighboring communities were dealt a nightmare.

Power was restored last night, and we will be back in Tampa today. Grace for gallery deliveries is appreciated - I'm in a hole on deadlines and I'm sorry for that. I appreciate you!

Hurricane Ian is making its way to the Tampa area this week.

Being from the midwest, I've learned a lot about this strong force in the past 24 hours, along with the importance of knowing our evacuation zone. Our area is not being advised to leave as of now. UPDATE: we are heading south tomorrow.

Since power outages are likely, I want to leave this here as an fyi for delayed response times or (MN) gallery deliveries this week.
