Somewhere along the way, we decided maternity photos were supposed to look a certain way.

I disagree.

Your maternity session is one of the few times I’m going to tell you to make it about YOU.

Your body grew a whole human. Let’s celebrate the hell out of that. Let yourself feel beautiful in this version of you!

Of course we can bring in your family but also get in front of that camera by yourself too!

You deserve to remember her. 🫶🏼

My fall full session calendar opens to my email list this Wednesday, August 26th. 🤎

And a little reminder before it does: your full session doesn’t have to be outside.

I know just how warm these Tampa days can be, and sometimes the studio is the perfect option. A full session still gives us plenty of time together without feeling rushed, just without having to worry about the heat. 😓

Inside or outside, the heart of your session stays the same!

A full session gives us time to slow down and just let things happen. There’s no rushing through a list of photos or trying to make every moment perfect. We have time for your family to settle in, for the kids to be themselves, and for me to capture everything as it unfolds.

That’s where so many of my favorite images come from. The moments that just happen when you have the time to be together.

I cannot wait for all of the families I get to photograph this fall. 🤍

As a mom, I’ve realized how wild it is that one moment they’re crawling toward you like you’re their whole world, and the next you’re sprinting through the grocery store trying to catch them before they knock over a display. One moment you’re rocking them to sleep at 2am because they can’t do it without you, and the next they’re strutting into their VPK classroom giving you a “peace out, love you, bye” over their shoulder.

Blink and you missed the whole stage.

That’s the whole point of what I do. You won’t remember every Tuesday, but you’ll want proof that this whole wild season actually happened before they grow out of needing you like this.

Remember this one. You’ll miss it more than you think.

Kids are meant to be kids. 🫶🏼

I don’t expect perfect smiles every time, and honestly, I wouldn’t want them.

The giggles, the wiggles, the serious faces, the little distractions, the way they run back into your arms. Those are the moments that feel the most true.

Because years from now, you may not remember whether they smiled perfectly for the camera. You’ll remember them exactly as they were.

And those are the photographs I want to give you!! 🤎

Moms, this one is for you, because I see you. 🫶🏼

I see you walking into my studio still healing, still adjusting, wondering if you have the energy to be “on” for a camera today.

I see you sitting down to get your hair and makeup done, maybe for the first time in months, and feeling like a small piece of yourself again, even just for a minute.

I see you standing in that soft studio light, baby in your arms, and for a second forgetting to pose because you’re just looking at them, the way you actually look at them at home.

I see you glance at the mirror before we start, unsure about your body, your hair, whether you look “ready,” and I want you to know you already look exactly like what this season is supposed to look like.

I see you relax a little more with every click of the shutter, realizing this space isn’t asking you to perform, just to be exactly as tired and in love as you actually are.

I see you leave a little lighter than when you walked in, because for one hour, someone else held the camera so you could just hold them.

That’s what my studio is for. Not a perfect version of you, just the real one, the one you’re going to want to remember.
