Well, that’s a wrap! Both Bartholomew girls are officially married! I’ve known the bride since I was a teenager, so needless to say, Friday was a little extra special. Ali & Kevin had a beautiful wedding, surrounded by some of the most supportive and loving people I’ve ever met. The perfect fall weather, the florals, the stunning gown, and the endless laughter…magic and good memories were certainly made.

And so we begin the 2025 season!

I'm so thrilled to share a sneak peek into Kelli & Jeff's beautiful wedding at the Fox Hills Golf & Banquet Center. Everything came together so beautifully thanks to the help of Summer( Events With Summer ) and the venue staff who worked hard to make sure every detail was perfect.

This was truly such a great day - congratulations to the newlyweds!

~ OUT WITH THE OLD AND IN WITH THE NEW ~

Hello, everyone!

I have some very exciting news to share with you all! I've just finished up my rebrand and after 8 long months, my shiny new website has officially launched. I've had the same website for almost 9 years so this is long overdue.

This has been a labor of love and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't stoked it was over, but I am extremely proud of this work and hope you love it as much as I do.

My 2023 wedding season is a WRAP - and we went out with style! Makenzi & Dr. Andy had an absolute stunner of a wedding at Frankenmuth Brewery on Friday. It was an amazing 73 degrees which was really the cherry on top of such a perfect day. This was truly so much fun to photograph! Makenzi & Andy, congratulations! I'm so happy for you two! Yesterday was a unique day for me as a photographer. Usually I photograph large and logistically complex weddings, but Thaylane & Eric had a super intimate wedding gathering at a private residence in Troy. Although the rain forced us to completely recalibrate the plan, it all came together just beautifully. This was an afternoon of love, energy, amazing food and fellowship. Congratulations, you two! I'm so happy for you both.

Yesterday literally could not have been more perfect. Ariel & Alex had a day of beautiful weather during their ceremony at Four Star Greenhouse , then we celebrated their reception at Arnaldo's. This day was a total plant lover's DREAM.

I'm so happy for you both! This was such an amazing day and I was so proud to be a part of it. Have fun in Belize!

Introducing the new Mr. & Mrs. Bianchi!

Yesterday was a dream - perfect weather, a beautiful setting and a happy couple. Liz & Tony had their wedding at The Kingsley Bloomfield Hills and the staff did an amazing job of putting this together.

I got to work with the DJ that did my best friend's wedding just last month, which is always a treat! Good to see you, Alpha Z Productions.

~ Allow Me To Reintroduce Myself ~

Did you know that this year marks a full decade of providing people like you with priceless memories? 225+ weddings, more than 1,000 portrait sessions, and over *two million* images have been captured by yours truly in that time.

Earlier this year, I took some to reflect on the things I've been able to accomplish. My work has been featured in physical magazines, digital media and blogs from across the world and I don't take that honor lightly. Two years in a row I was named Top 5 Wedding Photographers in Detroit by Metro Detroit Weddings magazine. Some artists may allow it to pump up their ego, whereas for me what its *actually* done is push me to keep up that momentum. How can I be better? How do the services I offer provide a meaningful impact to my clients? How can I change my workflow to be more efficient? Growth never stops. And over the years, I've collected all your feedback and taken it to heart, implemented it, and driven change.

Then, I realized....it was time for a rebrand. While my old logo served me well for 8 years, I needed a little something fresh. Something to mark this year in my own personal history book.

I was very particular about what I wanted - it had to emulate my work itself. Timeless, vintage tones, a little unique mixed with a little tradition...and I got exactly what I wanted.

Now introducing, the *new* Pixels & Paint Photography. As the fast food companies say, 'new look, same great taste'. :D Thanks for reading and following my journey. I'm so glad you're here.
