A bit late posting, but please enjoy some previews from our Mother’s Day mini sessions 🌸 This is the second year I’ve organized this event, and honestly it is something that tugs at my heart strings. These beautiful mothers took the time to show up, step in front of the camera, and capture the beauty of motherhood.

There is just something about the energy and joy of a one year old. Always on the move and full of personality and I love every second of keeping up with it!

Turning ONE is just pure magic 🥹✨

There is something so special about this age. The wobbly steps. The belly laughs. The big personality packed into such a tiny human. And let me tell you… my current editing session is FULL of high-energy boy vibes and the cutest cake smash you’ve ever seen. Frosting everywhere. Zero regrets. Maximum joy. 🎂💙

I absolutely love capturing this stage because it is playful and wild and sweet all at once. It is the last little glimpse of baby before full toddler mode takes over.

It was so fun to finally meet in person! Sarah and Dillan were incredibly easy to hang out with and photograph during their engagement session. Such an exciting season for them, and I absolutely can’t wait for their wedding later this year. January is all about new beginnings, and how special that this sweet couple gets to step into a season of engagement and the marriage to come. ✨

Lyndsey and Ben probably never imagined they would be married on November 8th with snow on the ground, and plenty of it! The unexpected snowfall created a romantic winter wonderland at Falls Park. They shared an intimate ceremony with their grandparents signing as witnesses on the marriage certificate. Even more special, they recreated a photo originally taken by Ben’s grandparents, a sweet tradition that several married family members have carried on. What a meaningful moment! It was such an honor to capture this beautiful day.

I’m just wrapping up preparations for tomorrow’s wedding. A cold snap might roll in overnight, but I’m convinced it will not put a damper on our fun. So much of my world is captured in this photo! 🌎 I often tell my clients I’m a full time mom and part time photographer. These girls push me to grow, to laugh harder, and to see life with more wonder. I’m so thankful to be their mom and honestly thankful for so many other things too. Gratitude truly begins with thankfulness. Getting yearly photos of my kids always takes preparation, not going to lie, but seeing the finished images and the sweet stage of life they are in makes it all worth it. 💛
