June 2003: Throwback to a date and time before I shot everything digitally. There was pure magic in not being certain what your image would look like before you returned home and developed the film. These images were shot for an ad campaign, but I can’t recall what. I guess the images are more important than the ad campaign. This was a Lower Brule tribe pow-wow in Chamberlain, South Dakota (Makȟáthipi).

James Cole Winery in Napa Valey makes an amazing red! Their Il Mostro is a beautiful expression of plush, dark berries and spices. This one was a 2009 vintage, that we purchased in 2012.
