It's been a hot minute since I've posted, but I am remedying that now! Caelin + Connor's Telluride engagement session is the epitome of summer to me, and as I look forward to this upcoming season, I have been thinking back to their gorgeous day. They hiked to a stunning waterfall, frolicked in the wildflowers, and jumped into an alpine lake at sunset! I am SO excited for more adventures in the mountains this summer!

Lauren + Jordan’s wedding day was filled to the brim with joy! You can just tell from Lauren’s face how excited she was to be marrying Jordan! These two tied the knot on a gorgeous blue sky fall day in the mountains. After a sweet and emotional ceremony, their guests enjoyed an eclectic tapas-style ‘action stations’ dinner and a dance party! Diamond Empire Band absolutely CRUSHED it, and it was more like a concert than a wedding reception. Lauren and Jordan’s friends definitely brought the energy for the most hyped dance floor I’ve ever seen! It was an absolute blast photographing the day of these two!

Max and Blythe (and their pug!) came from Denver to spend a long weekend in Vail. Vail is a special place for them, so it only made sense to pop the question there! They started there Saturday with a stroll along Gore Creek, where Max stopped by a stone bridge and proposed! Afterward, we headed into Vail Village for some portraits with the iconic coverage bridge.

Kiley grew up in the foothills of Colorado, and as a young girl, Aspen was a very special place to Kiley and her family. Her mom took family ski vacations there as a child and it was one of her favorite places. Later in life, Kiley's parents met when they both lived there in the '80s while skiing and got engaged there in 1986. When Kiley started dating Beau in 2020, he took her there for their first trip together because he knew the importance of it to her. Beau asked her to be his girlfriend officially at the base of the famous Maroon Bells peak, which was the weekend she fell in love with him. Fast forward almost three years in July of 2023, after moving in together, getting a puppy and experiencing years worth of memories, adventures, joys, challenges and life, he took her back for a weekend away during a busy summer. Kiley says, "He tricked me into thinking we were going to a fancy brunch in town and this time (dressed up) he took me back to Maroon Bells and proposed in the same spot at the bottom of the peak. He had a photographer there who captured it all and after our photo shoot they both convinced me to finish taking our photos at the top of Aspen Mountain. We rode the gondola up together to the top and when I got off I was stunned to see my entire family, his family and some of our close friends waiting for us with an entire brunch spread and champagne to host an engagement party. Beau’s entire family and some of mine are from out of town plus my brother in law is in the military and it’s challenging to be able to leave for special occasions. Having them all present was incredibly emotional and touching!"

It’s wedding day for Lauren and Jordan! I met these two in 2021 when I captured their proposal on a sunny December day in Boulder! I cannot believe their wedding is here, and I’m so excited to capture their day in Estes Park!

Jobran proposed to Lia on their seventh anniversary in the most epic fashion- at sunrise on top of a mountain at 14,265 feet! Lia was taken by complete surprise and absolutely overjoyed! It was so incredibly magical watching the first light of day illuminate them on top of the mountain as she enthusiastically said yes.

Jobran put so many special details into this proposal. He drove them up the mountain in his favorite car: the convertible that he picked her up in for their first date. He took her to one of their favorite spots, which he secretly scouted in the few weeks leading up to the proposal to pick out the absolute perfect spot on the mountain, and to determine the exact angle of where to stand so that the light would hit them perfectly. He also brought her a huge bouquet of roses! She kept the dried flowers he brought her on their first date seven years ago, so he wanted to make sure she had some flowers to mark this special moment in their relationship as well.

Lia was SO excited and appreciative of all of his careful planning and thoughtful words, and gave his proposal “30 million out of 10”. In her excitement, she also said probably the best thing I’ve heard during a proposal session: “we’re gonna get married, have a bitchin’ wedding, and have the best life ever!” These two were the absolute best and it was such a great honor to capture this chapter in their story together!

On a gorgeous summer evening, Alex proposed to Samantha! While on a getaway in Leadville, they headed to Samantha’s favorite spot on the lake and he proposed. Samantha was so surprised- her joy was infectious! These two were so much fun and I had the best time capturing their love and happiness!

Daniel and Faith traveled from Texas for a getaway in the Rockies! Although they’ve visited once before, they’ve never seen Colorado without snow! Summer in Colorado is magical, even more so at 12,000+ feet in Rocky Mountain National Park! After a day of sightseeing, they headed up Trail Ridge Road to take in the mountain views. At one of their stops, they climbed on a big rock (and befriended the three-legged marmot who inhabits it) and Daniel proposed! Can you imagine a more epic view?!
