Nine years ago, I came to America with my family, carrying hope, faith in a better future, and a strong desire to start a new life.
I had dreamed of this country since childhood. It wasn’t just a dream to visit or travel here one day. I dreamed of becoming a part of it.
Over the past nine years, that dream has become my reality. We were never afraid to start over. We raised children who have found their place in life and are confidently following their own paths, built meaningful friendships, overcame challenges, learned countless lessons, created new opportunities for ourselves and others, and step by step built a life we are truly proud of.
Today, America celebrates 250 years of independence — a remarkable historic milestone. For many, it’s an important moment in the nation’s history. For me, it’s also deeply personal. It’s the story of a dream that one day became reality.
I am truly grateful for this journey and happy to be part of this country and its story.
