My favorite family to photograph is my own! My grandfather was a photographer so we never skipped family portraits growing up, which means my siblings and I are well trained. There are over 50 of us in the family now, but working with them is an absolute breeze. If your family is getting together this holiday season, send me an invite! "They grow up so fast."

When my kids were young I would hear that phrase over and over again from parents with adult children. I remember very vividly wanting to punch them all in the face. My days felt so long and it seemed like my kids were going to stay tiny forever. Now my children are all somehow older and wiser than me and it turns out everyone was right.

Hey, Moms! Remember how you find the photographer, find the one day when all your family members are available, book the photographer, pick out the clothes, get your hair done, tell everyone to get dressed, listen to everyone complain about what they have to wear, pay the photographer, and make sure everyone arrives on time?
