Local Funding to Improve Our Schools — Without Raising Taxes
Rated as one of the top 45 school districts in all of California, Temple City Unified School District (TCUSD) is located in the heart of the San Gabriel Valley. Our dedicated team of educators and staff is committed to providing a caring and supportive environment for our 5,300 students in pre-kindergarten through high school. While our neighborhood schools are among the best in the state academically, many of our facilities were built more than 70 years ago. Building health and safety standards have changed over these years, and we need to ensure safe, up-to-date schools and access for all students, including those with disabilities.
To address needed updates across all our schools and enhance the quality of education for our students, the district is placing a $146 million school improvement bond – Measure TCS - on the November 2026 ballot to address Phase I of our School Facilities Master Plan.
Please take a few moments to view this recent video of Superintendent Dr. Art Cunha explaining why this bond is so important to our children.
