For those who are unaware, my grandfather, Kenneth C. Bolinger (Sr.) passed away in the evening hours of Monday, June 1, 2026.

Visitation for a time of sharing and remembrance will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026 at Shelburn First Baptist Church from 5:00 until 8:00 pm.

Visitation will also be on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 to begin at 10:00 am. with a celebration of a life well lived to follow at 11:00 am. Pastor Ben Wetherington will officiate, with burial following at Westlawn Cemetery, in Farmersburg.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to- First Baptist Church of Shelburn Food Distribution ministry. Donation envelopes will be available at the church, located at 520 W. Mill Street, Shelburn, IN, 47879.

Haven’t seen one of these in FOREVER. Last I knew, Joink still had theirs running and still had customers using it. This is a 3Com HyperArc box where banks of PRI’s are connected for dial up internet.

There would be banks of numbers for each card, they’d roll down to the next available one, hit our auth server and they’d be online! 812-238-2768 & 242-1358 for ABCS. 🤣

We had these scattered around, one in TH, Crawfordsville, Linton & Rockville. We had dial up in Brazil too but it was running on an Intel Shiva system in an outdoor enclosure at the grain bins.

The Bloomington Police Department is seeking assistance from members of the public with identifying the individual in the attached photograph wearing the white shirt, black pants, and white and black shoes.

On May 24, 2026, at approximately 10:10 p.m., officers with the Bloomington Police Department responded to The Rive Bloomington, located at 1820 N Walnut Street, in reference to a report of shots fired. Upon the arrival of officers, it was determined that a large party had been taking place on the rooftop patio of the building. During the party, surveillance cameras captured video of the pictured male as he removed a handgun from his waistline and fired numerous rounds into the air in rapid succession. Partygoers began running from the area and the man was last seen on camera running from the building to the southwest. Officers did locate four spent .45 caliber shell casings at the scene, but did not locate any property damage nor any injured individuals.
