So I cheated a bit with the groom’s pics. Even though I took his pics next to a window, I still had a godox speedlite, strategically placed behind the groom, to give him a bit of an edgy pop. Is it really cheating though??🧐

As a photographer, I occasionally encounter a room with bad lighting and have to do what I can to fix it. I had my Godox Speedlites with me and some color gels. If I was smarter, I would’ve used an orange gel on my on camera flash. I did use a blue gel on my off camera flash that was located camera left.

I like to do these sessions that I call “The Gentleman Session”. I would always pose the groom and each of his groomsmen by a window and the them do these poses that pronounces their features, style, and attitude. I do a similar session with The Bride and Bridesmaids, but I haven’t came up with a catchy name for their session as yet. Any ideas?

(1/500, f.5.6, iso 640) Flash Power was 1/1 on my Godox TT685c for my key and 1/4 power for the Godox TT685s I used as a rim light. No flash modifiers were used.
