Zion + Jackson
The weather kept trying to steal the show... but God was writing a far more beautiful story. 🤍⛰️
Some wedding days are special because of the place, the details, or the moments we capture. Others are special because of the story that brought us there.
Fifteen years ago, I had the honor of photographing Zion and her incredible family. To stand beside them once again, this time celebrating Zion as she married Jackson, was one of those full-circle moments that reminds me why I love what I do so deeply. What a gift it is to witness a family’s story unfold through the years.
Throughout the day, storms rolled in and out, constantly shifting our plans. Yet through every change, there was such an undeniable sense of peace. It was a beautiful reminder that the most meaningful moments often arrive quietly, tucked between the plans we made and the story God was already unfolding.
One of the moments I'll carry with me forever was hearing every voice join to sing “The Blessing” during Zion + Jackson's ceremony. As family and friends worshipped with them, it became so clear that this marriage isn't just rooted in love—it’s rooted in Christ.
Although the reception came to an early close as another storm approached, the sweetest gift was how the skies cleared, the mountains emerged, the river reflected the most beautiful light, and we were able to capture some incredible moments on the backdrop of their day.
Zion + Jackson, thank you for allowing me to witness the beginning of this next chapter. Praying that your marriage continues to be covered in His love, guided by His wisdom, and filled with the same joy that surrounded you on this day. 🤍
