The morning before the attendees arrived, the mentors were treated to the most magnificent lattes by while we hung out poolside at . Exactly the mood booster I needed after a cold icy winter in Northern Virginia.
We were lucky enough to meet his beautiful family with for a beach shoot.
This has me even more excited for the time I will have for beach shoots this fall in VA Beach! I love their personal style and how much fun they have together.

Print what you want to preserve. Framed prints and heirloom albums your kids can see as they walk the halls of your home and thumb through on the coffee table have been shown to increase their self confidence and sense of belonging in your family. I still love looking back through photos of my family from my childhood and generations before. These moments deserve to be seen and not tucked away on a digital folder in your phone.

Seeing these photos again makes me excited for spring - hopefully last night was the last snow of the season!

Packing for the TMA Gathering retreat at the end of the month and thinking about taking more BW film with me. Last summer was so perfect in black and white. I’ve added some images that needed to be in my feed and not just stories!

Thanks to for her styled shoots. Half of these were from her events - you should definitely attend the next one she opens! I love that the styled shoots and retreats let me slow down and focus on film but I also love incorporating it into my client sessions as well. If you want to shoot a whole session on film, I’m game!
