Watching your first born become a big sibling is such a special experience✨

A common worry I hear from moms is how their toddler may act during a newborn session, but on the other hand the most common reaction after our session is “wow, you really were so good with them!” Along with a few worries and “I hope you were able to get some good ones.” Rest assured mama, I got you 🤍 I also have the wardrobe, professional hair and makeup, snacks and treats so you can just show up and enjoy your session - leave the details (and the crazy toddler) to me.

So many gorgeous sessions (like this one!) from last year I haven’t had a chance to share on here yet. I’ve been slowing down here on social and focusing on being very intentional with my time- both personally and professionally. Focusing on each of my clients and their needs and slowing down to truly plan their ideal session. This intentionality has helped me revamp my creative mindset and process going into this year. I’m so excited to see how this translates into my work and sessions this year with each of you.

I’ve known this family since I was the age of their oldest now, and there’s a profound humility in being entrusted by them to document this special time as they welcome another beautiful baby into this world. That Texas heat is slowly but surely fading which means we are making our way back outdoors again for family sessions✨ My fall calendar is almost completely full with only 2 full openings left in October and 3 left in November!
