tldr; I have turned this old Photography page into a page for my content. If you want to stick around, NEAT! If you don’t, I’m not offended 💕

For some of you, it’s been a minute since you’ve remembered my existence! For others, you probably have seen me pop up here and there over the years.
To address the elephant in the room, yes I have stepped back from photography for the past few years. The reason for that was pretty simple and nothing crazy, really. Had my first kid, then the lockdown in 2020 occurred, then I just slowly realized I needed more time to myself as my job at the time got way too demanding. My current job isn’t as demanding, but it still requires 8 hours of my time a day. Instead of photography, I needed more time to just enjoy the little bit of free time I get and do things for me.
Doing photography at a business level meant I was taking photos for others and though I TRULY enjoyed it and I am so proud of what I accomplished and all of the people I met, it’s a lot to juggle. I enjoyed the hustle, but when you add two kids to the mix on top of a full time job, then also try to do a photography business on top, there’s no time for me to enjoy my hobbies. I needed to allow myself to just BE with myself for my own mental health.
For the past few years, I’ve instead put my energy into making content that revolved around my hobbies such as gaming & collecting. A lot of you have always known about these hobbies, so it doesn’t come off as much of a shock that I still pursue those hobbies to this day.
It has just been a fun thing to do in the spare time I have, and I have accomplished personal goals going down this route! I’ve gotten to work with brands that have GREATLY influenced my childhood, and have earned a total following of 66k followers across TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube which is WAY more than I could have ever thought possible. I feel like I’m just getting started. Going this Content Creator route has even provided me with the honorable opportunity to be invited as a Notable Trainer to Pokémon’s biggest event later this year, Pokémon Worlds in Anaheim!
Does this mean NO to photography forever? Certainly not. This just means NO to doing photography from a business level for the foreseeable future so I can have some breathing room to do creative ventures on my own. Maybe when I feel like I have more time on my hands I’ll bring back the business, because I look back at a lot of the photos many of you & I created together and I was enamored with what we’ve accomplished together in the past. I just sadly can’t fit it in right now, and need to make sure I breathe a little.
Anyways, if you’ve stuck around all of these years, and even read ALL of this, I truly appreciate you so much! THANK YOU for being a pillar of support to me at a point in my life that I truly loved and had so much fun with! But life is full of chapters, and for now the photography business one is closed. I mean, it’s been like 5 years, you should have guessed by now 😂
If you choose to stick around for this next chapter in my life, one that has already been going on for the past 4 years, I’m happy to have you. If you don’t, I’m not offended at all. Beginning tomorrow, you’ll start to see content I’ve posted on my other platforms on here to start getting this platform going.
See you around, and thank you for always hanging around here! 💕
