I am so excited to announce this brand refresh for friend and super agent Zach Richmond and his team at

A brand refresh is unique in that
it is a reimagining of a brand's existing look and feel. It's a way to create a new face for brands that are fundamentally strong that just need a little polishing. In this instance we centered on a redesign of their visual identity, but also highlighting some expansion, growth and team building!

Same trusted service - new things popping over at RRG!

⚠️Jen McD is currently not accepting new clients at this time. Existing clients projects though are still going strong 💪🏻

I quietly continue to work on my graphic design projects. On a case by case basis, I accept design projects limited to small businesses, mostly female owned. It’s exciting to translate their dreams to a visual representation. For Dana, this new business of hers needed something fresh to highlight her open road adventures! Congratulations , let the adventures begin! ❤️Jen McD

It is with much thought that we announce a small leave of absence form JMCDD! With managing two full time businesses and two full time children, one ☝️ is needing a slight break. We will though, continue our business at Jen Loves Paper full time! We just will not be accepting any new clients for our Jen McDonald Designs in marketing and graphic design until 2021. Not stopping, just taking a nice pause as we complete this year (the year of all years! 🤪)

Thank you 🙏🏻 and see you in 2021!

2020. Need I say more?
With this year going like it has, I felt the need for a rebrand, a fresh new take! Not only am I taking a fresh new perspective on my branding, I am also having to take a fresh new perspective on my small business. Many of you are loyal customers to my shop Jen Loves Paper , thank you! With the current climate being what it is though, parties and celebrations have taken a back seat. Thankfully, my design business has been nonstop! I’ve been able to continue my work with helping nonprofits and small businesses with their marketing, social media, and graphic design needs.

I’ve been reflecting recently with several friends about how thankful I am that while one business has had to take a serious pause, the other has continued, all while helping others in the community! I feel grateful for this opportunity to continue my work. This year has been filled with so much struggle for so many, having the ability to continue a creative outlet has helped me personally.

THE REBRAND
✏️Influenced by my love of confetti and all things celebrations!
✏️I used muted tones with a fresh color palette.
✏️Highlighted my name, that has now become an affectionate nickname throughout my community “Jen McD” 😝

stay tuned as I show off many of the projects I’ve been working on throughout 2020, and for some fun ideas I have in place for Jen Loves Paper! @ The Woodlands, Texas

I took this photo from my bedside a few hours after having my second son. Was so grateful to capture this moment. Happy Father’s day to my husband who provides both of our boys with adventures and patience.

In over twelve years now of being a photographer, there are some families that have been extra memorable and touched my heart. My time with the Derricks was always extra special, I think because of the joy that I always could tell lived in their hearts. Today I ask that you join me in supporting this young family, as they deal with the loss of their husband and father, Caleb. Always a giant smile and a laugh to be shared, Caleb will be deeply missed.

Noelle became involved in HOPE after attending the 2nd HOPE Under the Stars fundraiser in 2010. She stated once she heard Will’s story, she was immediately committed to the cause. Noelle has served on the HOPE Committee as an outstanding volunteer for 9 years. She serves as an active member of the HOPE Development Board and she co-chaired the HOPE Under the Stars Gala in 2015 and 2016. Noelle and her family have consistently and without waivering, supported the Herndon’s and their fight to save their son, Will. Noelle has a heart for HOPE, for her community and for giving back. She is a sustaining member of The Junior League of Houston where she spent most of her time volunteering at Texas Children’s Hospital.
