Every year I wait for the return of our resident Red-shouldered Hawk. I was working some images in my office and I heard one calling across the street. I grabbed my camera and out the frond door I went and sure enough, he/she was in the top of the tree across the street. This is one of their favorite spots and from time to time, our fence in the backyard.

Looks like a great day to be fishing, but there is a problem starting to materialize. What looks like water in front and to each side, what you can't see is that the tide is coming up and that little land he is on is now becoming an island. Also, see how the front of the chair is sinking into the sand and the Great Blue Heron is waiting for his catch!!

I took another trip down to Dauphin Island this morning to do a little droning as the wind had laid down. I was also able to capture a Bald Eagle with the catch of the day, speckled trout (Spotted Seatrout). I always carry my Z9 with the 180-600mm if you were thinking I photographed him with my drone!!🤣

Took a little trip down to Dauphin Island just to get out of the house this morning. I was hoping to fly the drone, but the wind was a little too strong. I took a walk out on the new boardwalk that was built west of the school and pier to check it out. I took a 360 degree video of the walk out which I will post later. The only birds I saw were a sanderling, a willet and a Snowy Egret taking flight. . There were a number of shrimp boats off the shore line working with a lot of birds flying around for some hand outs. The photo of the shrimp boat was a very longe distance shot.
