I've been meaning to make this post for a while! I've had a few people ask me, "who's Albert?" Which is understandable because he has been mentioned on my page alot.
Some of you have met him at sessions these last few years but for those not do not know, Albert is a part of our photography team.
He is a wonderful photographer, editor, and also builds many of the props that make up our beautiful sets!
Many times, while I'm at one venue shooting mini sessions, Albert is at another venue capturing more families.
On top of being a creative photographer, he is also my son. When he was 6 years old, he told me he wanted to learn how to take pictures.
He came along with me to some of my sessions and I let him shoot with my backup camera and was amazed at his natural eye and creativity for being so little. But what amazed me more was how much he enjoyed himself doing it!
It takes a special combination of skills and personality to be a family photographer. Knowing the camera and lighting is important but you also need to be able to interact with children, keeping them engaged and interested, and having fun!
And this is where Albert is especially great. He loves capturing families and the getting kids to laugh.
So if you see me post about Albert or get to meet him this fall at your session, you'll know a little more about him ☺️.
