Hear ye, hear ye, Big Goings-on at the Texas Renaissance Festival:
Villagers ask, “Is the Kingdom for sale?”
I went straight to Darla, TRF General Manager, to find out. She informed me that our founder, owner, and first true King of the Texas Renaissance Festival, George, has received many offers throughout the years to purchase our beloved festival. Obviously, up to this point none of the offers have been accepted.
However, our goodly, octogenarian, regent does intend to retire and has hopes of creating a legacy that will ensure the continuation of TRF.
To the great relief and joy of all in the Kingdom, our Patron, after much deliberation has decided not to actively pursue the sale of TRF. It is his hope that a coalition of employees, vendors, artists, and entertainers can take up the mantle of leadership and ensure the continuation of TRF well into the future.
Only time will tell.
So, with the founder’s guidance and blessings the Texas Renaissance Festival prepares for its 49th Year.

Mark your calendars H-Town! 📅 The Houston Zoo announced that its highly anticipated Galápagos Islands exhibit, will open to the public April 7th! 🤩🙌 The first major exhibit of its kind in the world will showcase California sea lions, Galápagos tortoises 🐢 & a colony of Humboldt penguins! 🐧
