I jumped back into the Wedding Photography saddle for these two and I couldn’t be more grateful.

The last wedding I took on was in 2023… 😮‍💨

I started taking on more branding clients and really loving that work and at that point, weddings had fallen off of my radar.

My passion lives in branding, bo***ir + maternity, but sometimes, I like to sprinkle in a little extra love especially for couples like Steph + Jon.

They reminded me of my why and my choice because just like marriage, we have to consciously choose every day how we will show up.

How we will show up for ourselves.
How we will show up for our relationships.
How we will show up for clients.
How we will show up for the world.

They reminded me of personal needs, wants and desires being valid.

That it’s helpful to have guidance and support.

And to always come back to love.

Love for self, for others and for what you do.

So thank you to Steph + Jon for letting me celebrate with you both, document your special day and for all of the beautiful reminders. Congratulations you two 🥳✨

let’s be honest… we don’t change our hair only for how it looks.

there’s something deeper happening when we sit in that chair.

it’s not just about color, length, or a fresh cut.

it’s about how we want to feel when we leave.

seen.
refreshed.
reclaimed.
like we’ve stepped back into ourselves a little more.

our stylists are so much more than people who “do hair.”

they hold space for transformation in real time.

they witness the versions of us we’re growing out of…
and the versions we’re stepping into.

the quiet decisions.
the nervous excitement.
the “i needed this” energy that we don’t always know how to say out loud.

and that’s the part people don’t always see.

transformation doesn’t start when the scissors move.

it starts when we decide we’re allowed to take up space in our own lives again.

so yes… it’s a haircut.

but it’s also a reminder.

that we’re allowed to change.
to evolve.
to come back to ourselves in new ways.

deepest thank you to and the beautiful space you cultivated at for holding such a beautiful space for this kind of becoming, and for taking such intentional care in every part of this experience.

Standing on business... literally

Today was a brand shoot day for myself, and I’m treating it like the business investment it is.

The photos are only one piece of the puzzle.

Before I ever step in front of the camera, I’m getting clear on my vision, planning my outfits, identifying how I’ll use the images, communicating with my photographer, and making sure I’m showing up well rested + nourished.

Because a strategic brand shoot isn’t just about having beautiful photos.

It’s about creating images that tell your story, build trust with your audience, support your offers, and work for your business long after the shoot is over.

The more intentional the preparation, the more impactful the result.

Vision first.
Photos second.

The magic happens when the two come together ✨

A few years ago one of my friends told me they had a vision for a photography session and that is was part of her healing journey.

She loaded up a fish tank and drove to my house where we put it in my backyard and filled it with water to document these photos.

To this day, this was one of my most artistic sessions.

This was the session that birthed Embodied Empowerment. That transcended my photography business into a healing container.

I’m lacking inspiration right now and this is where I keep coming back to because yes, photography is a beautiful way to document memories, and it’s so much more than that.

It’s what is felt when returning back to Self fully — what is felt looking at this images.

Motherhood + entrepreneurship have a lot in common…

You have to believe in yourself before you fully know what you’re doing 😂

Both ask you to grow in real time.
�To trust your instincts.
�To keep showing up even when you’re tired, emotional, overstimulated, or doubting yourself.

There’s no perfect roadmap for either.
�Just a constant unfolding into a new version of you.
