Stunning:) Kaylee was so sweet! We decided to rock her senior session in two parts one at the Wildflower Farm and this Friday in a more urban setting.

Senior ~ Isabel

Class of 2027 is really bringing their A-game to their Senior sessions. Full of inspiration and naturals in front of the camera.

Isabel is a real treat and truly stunning. We scheduled her Senior session last March because she knew then what she wanted and really wanted ME to take her photos, true compliment.

Fun story: I have told this before but here we go again for those of you who are new here....I was taking some family photos at one of my favorite spots: Fabyan Gardens when Isabels mom walked past me and waited patiently until I was done with my family to approach me. She asked me for a card because she loved the setting and (I think) she mentioned something about how I talked to the family I was photographing. HUGE compliment. I did happen to have a card and she reached out for her own family session very shortly after. That's the first time I met Isabel. Mom shared with me last night a photo from our first session together in 2022 and it's crazy how much change happens in 4 short years.

For her Senior Session, we started at the Wildflower farm and ended in a field on the side of the road with Isabel and Mom repeating...don't worry Jen we trust you. Well thank goodness she did because look at the results:)

I took 804 photos of Isabel which was two locations and three outfits with a few extra props to show some things that are really special to her. THIS was so much fun! SOOO much!

SENIORS....it's not too late. We can rock a session as you are now and then again in the Spring to show how you have changed during this special year.

A little bit of handsome, a little bit of sweet, and A LOT of personality.

Four unique personalities and one gallery full of memories. These four are truly a treat to get in front of my camera! I have been watching them grow for many years and am grateful to be the one Mom chooses.

Our first session together was like all other first sessions but we just clicked! We are now OLD great friends and that is truly one of the best parts of the job. The amazing relationships I have made over the past years.

Nothing speaks louder than trusting me year after year to create memories for your family. As I roll into "busy season" (feel like it's been wild already), I get really excited when I see new clients-potential for future and past clients-potential for comfortable smiles and hugs!

Wow ☀️ was the Sun showing off last night!

Took advantage of the night off and the perfect weather to scout Five locations.

Location scouting is one of the many behind the scenes opportunities that come with running a photography business. It might be my absolute favorite, when time allows. The light is what I chase which usually leads me to driving or hiking into the sunset. Finding the perfect location with light that meets my creative vision could be a full time job in itself BUT it’s all worth it when I get to create memories for your walls!

The weather has been such a hot topic of frustration for all the last couple months but I am hopeful that it all settles down and we get many more sunsets like last night.

Which one of these spots if your favorite?! Hard decision.

I have a few weekday evenings left for October Full Family sessions and we can definitely rock one of these spots!

The WILDFLOWER Farm did not disappoint last weekend:)

SURE it was super muddy after 7million days of rain and the mosquitoes were soooo fierce but the setting itself---stunning as always. Thankful to the awesome owner for her hard work in creating a space that BLOOMS year after year.

This family was stunning! There is always tons of worry about the youngest of the bunch no matter how many kids you have...but this guy rocked it. SURE, he definitely made me work for his smiles but it was all worth it!

Headed back to WWF tonight for a some of my favorite friends milestone session..just wait to see:)

Nailed it:) The timing of the train and the setting sun...

Zak was such a treat to photograph and meet. I have LOVED chatting with all these handsome Seniors lately. Such a neat perspective on life and all have been so positive for the future!

Zak was a real trooper and never complained once about my shenanigans. Our session ran long but he ended up with a very diverse gallery of things he loves. More to come from this awesome night.

SENIORS...let's do this. The weather is finally. starting to cooperate and we. have lots to celebrate as you are embarking on this NEW, last year!

Happy BACK to School:)

Last week consisted of 6 sessions in 5 days and watching the weather in between all while preparing for my 25th YEAR teaching. When I say I am alive...it's barely.

Today was my first day of year 25 and the positive energy was contagious. Hope it continues. Every year I say the same thing, the transition back to school during a very busy photo season is not something I cannot truly prepare for but feeling grateful to be able to keep doing it. Exhausted, but grateful.

Newly added is one more night at this awesome property pictured here, October 3rd. This is a private property in Homer, that I really love shooting at. Rain, sun, cold, hot...it doesn't matter because every corner of this property is stunning.
