What kind of do you like to take? I like to do, for the most part, either large landscape shots or something close in. I like to take a moment to pause and look around, notice things and see if other people notice things in my larger shots as well. I also noticed a lot of the times I tend to like to use leading lines, with no actual end and just let the mind imagine what's at the end of the path.

I have opened an Etsy shop for POD products to help finance me going to events and taking photography so people can have those memories. I remember how my mom noticed she wasn't in a lot of photos when we were growing up, so I would really like to be able to take photos of different events for people to use images of themselves freely, that they may not have gotten otherwise!

So, if you like puzzles or want some wall art, I'm putting up my scenery photography as canvas prints and puzzles for the time being. I'll see if I'll expand into other options later. Thank you in advance for any purchases.

parade in . Everyone was sitting on the side of the shade, which makes sense given the temperature for the day. I found a single tree on the opposite side with shade for me to retreat to when I needed it. I was once Uncle Sam in a parade and I did not envy the people walking it that day! đŸ˜… Happy !

Some of the groups in the parade I got were Shelby County, OH Democrats, Sidney Kiwanis, Sidney Elks Lodge, the local Boy Scouts/Scouting America Troop, and others I missed the names of. If you see anyone you know, please tag them!

Stopped in to the car and craft show in in on June 28th. Took some photos of some vendors ( Pagan's Hearth & The Window Guy & Co. ) but was mainly just practicing event photography again. Been a busy two weeks, but I have some from the local parade to edit and upload! Hoping to do some scenery shots again and I welcome any recommendations on where to go.

Here's part 2 of and my practicing to figure out what works and what doesn't for me. Ended the day by attending an Irish Dance lesson my friend told me I had to participate in but I needed to get some shots of it before getting on stage as well. A fun day and looking forward to further shenanigans at this year!

Went to to test out my new lens as well as get practice in with shooting at events. Haven't done that before and it was definitely a challenge even for the little bit of time I was there! It was fun to see the performances and the people there and running into friends as well. (Part 1 of 2)
