You know that moment when you run into someone that you haven't seen in a while and they ask "how's your summer been?" Expecting to hear all about sunshine and fun, but your answer is far from it. You just smile and say "great and yours?" but really you want to scream because you've had a major 2 steps forward 4 steps back kind of year. I don't get personal on here too often and I won't go into detail because some of it isn't my story to tell, but 2026 has been tough on us.
A couple days ago I realized I posted twice in June and twice so far in July, so need to let everyone know that I haven't gone anywhere. Our family has just experienced some major struggles along with everyday parenting, work and running a business. We're still finding happiness in the things we love like neighborhood fun & sports with the kids, volleyball & golf for Brad & I, and quality time with each other. Social media is just the last thing on my list of what I need to pour my energy into.
My hope is that over the next week or two, I can plan some fun for the end of summer, fall and holiday photos. It truly brings me so much happiness to create for you all. I'm really looking forward to getting back into the swing of things and connecting more!
