One of my favorite parts of this job isn’t just taking photos—it’s getting to witness life’s biggest moments unfold, year after year.

I met Abbey back in 2021ish? (thanks to Bumble BFF) when we were both just looking for more girlfriends to connect with. I quickly learned all about this guy named Charlie… and how convinced she was that he was the one. The only problem? He hadn’t proposed yet.

What Abbey didn’t know was that Charlie had already reached out to me about the proposal.

So I had the impossible job of secretly knowing an engagement was coming while also joining in on the “What is he waiting for?!” conversations. 😂

Then came the proposal.

Since that day, I’ve had the incredible privilege of documenting so many milestones:

Abbey and Charlie, thank you for trusting me with so many of your memories. It has truly been one of the greatest honors to watch your little family grow, and I can’t wait to see what chapter comes next. ❤️

There are some weddings where you can literally feel the love in the room.

I’ve photographed so many incredible couples over the years, but every once in a while there’s a wedding that stays with me long after I pack up my cameras.

That was Maicie and Anissa.

The way they looked at each other, the quiet moments between the big ones, the joy that radiated from both of them—it was impossible not to smile behind my camera. Their love wasn’t loud or performative. It was steady, genuine, and beautifully obvious.

Being trusted to document days like this is something I’ll never take for granted.

If the way they love each other is any indication of what’s ahead, I have every reason to believe they’re building something truly lasting. ❤️

Friday night I had the chance to photograph the fireworks at Centennial Terrace, and I just wanted to say thank you to the Sylvania Recreation District for the invitation. It was such a fun evening, and I’m grateful to have been included in such a special community tradition.

I’m also so excited to finally share that I’ll be partnering with the Sylvania Recreation District this December as the official photographer for Santa at Children’s Wonderland! ❤️🎅

Getting to capture those moments of excitement, wonder, and joy as families visit Santa is something I’m genuinely looking forward to. As someone who believes memories matter, it’s an honor to help preserve such a magical part of the holiday season for so many families.

Thank you again to the Sylvania Recreation District for the opportunity and for trusting me to be part of these amazing community events. I can’t wait to see everyone at Children’s Wonderland this December!
