Proof that there’s always room for more love!

Jerome and Nick, better known as the Ice Bros, have officially been waiting 161 days for their forever family. Despite all that time, they still greet every day with wagging tails, hopeful hearts, and plenty of love to give.

These sweet boys are more than ready for someone to finally give them a chance. Until then, they’ll keep filling laps and stealing hearts.

Please help us find their forever homes and don’t let them wait much longer.

🐾✨ You’ve Got a Friend in Archie! ✨🐾

Seriously… how is this guy still here?

Archie has never met a stranger. Everyone is his best friend, and he greets every new person like they’ve known each other forever. ❤️

I just need to know what it will take… We’ve dressed him up as a giraffe. We’ve shown off how gentle and sweet he is around babies. We’ve told everyone how much he loves other dogs. At this point, we’re running out of ways to prove what an incredible dog he is!

All Archie needs now is his Andy.👞

A day away from the shelter can tell you so much about a dog!

This past Saturday, Rocky got to spend the day being a normal pup❤️

He started his adventure supporting his friends at Toledo Humane Society at Bark in the Park, where he explored new sights, sounds, and experiences. Then he wrapped up his day meeting new friends, relaxing on the couch, and soaking up all the love before returning to the shelter.

What did we learn?

🚗 Rocky is AMAZING in the car.
🐶 Rocky is very dog-friendly.
💙 Rocky can be a little nervous around new people and places at first, but give him a minute and he transforms into the bravest, happiest boy who wants to be everyone’s friend.

The hardest part of Rocky’s day? Having to come back to the shelter…

This sweet, young guy deserves a couch of his own and people to call family. Could that be you?

A few of you have commented that Rocky looks like he might be a Weimaraner mix, and honestly… I can see it!!!

Of course, we don’t know for sure, but after looking up Weimaraner traits, some fit him perfectly and some don’t. One thing we do know? Rocky is 100% the best boy and desperately deserves a family of his own.

He’s far too young, loving, and wonderful to spend his days growing up in a shelter kennel.

Rocky recently joined us at Bark in the Park, and he had an absolute blast! He loved exploring, meeting new dogs, soaking up attention, and taking in all the sights and smells. He’s incredibly dog-friendly and has such a sweet, gentle soul.

Like many shelter dogs, Rocky can be a little nervous when he first meets someone. But give him a few seconds, a kind voice, and a little patience, and you’ll quickly see his true personality shine. Once he knows you’re safe, he’s all about love!!!

Bark in the Park 2026 was a huge success! ✨💜🐾The rain may have cut the day a little short, but it couldn’t dampen the fun!! The day was packed with incredible people, adorable dogs, and so many smiles.

My little guy ❤️ A day away from the shelter was exactly what Rocky needed. ❤️

The shelter can be a scary, overwhelming place for a sweet pup like Rocky, so we took him out for a little adventure and he was so brave every step of the way!

He rode perfectly in the car, soaked up the sunshine on the patio at Mayfly Tavern Bar and Grill , explored on a long walk, made a few new friends at Fritzie Freeze, and even enjoyed his very first pup cup!!🍦☀️

Watching Rocky relax outside of the shelter was a reminder of just how truly amazing he is. He’s gentle, loving, eager to please, and truly one of the sweetest dogs you’ll ever meet. His favorite place is right by your side, whether that’s on a patio, a trail, or curled up at home after a day of adventures.

Rocky shouldn’t have to spend another summer waiting in a kennel. He deserves a family, a couch, and a best friend to call his own!!
