It’s been years in the making and I’m finally doing it:

I’m accepting sessions and new clients!

With that, I’m making a lot of moves in the background to make everything run smoothly for myself and clients. Getting Square, a business Venmo account, updating my website, shopping for a platform for easier booking, and the list goes on. I won’t bore you with every single detail.

Where does the time go?!

I’ve had a professional camera for a decade now. I’ve had this company for a little over three years and I haven’t done much with it overall. I’m hoping to change that soon! 😁

I will be revamping my website, drawing up business cards, and getting to it! Stay tuned for more info in the coming weeks.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays everyone! Big thank you to everyone who let me take holiday pictures for them this season as I continue to hone my photography.

I hope everyone got what they wanted from Santa, and above all had a warm place to gather and a good meal. If this time of year is painful for you, I see you and I hope you’re okay.

WHEW! Being a business owner is a lot of work, who knew right? 😅

This is just a reminder that my free shoots will only last through the end of the year! If you wanted outdoor Christmas photos, I will be wrapping all of those sessions up THIS weekend. Indoor is still possible but time is ticking for edits and Christmas card potential. Time wise, I can’t take on too many more but it IS still possible!

I’m currently plotting some family friendly and some (adults only) not so family friendly Valentine’s Day sessions for mid to late January. So put a mental bookmark in it if you’re interested. Spots will be limited to specific days and availability, first come first serve style. More details coming soon!

Excited to announce that I’m officially a business! Arcana Photography!

This opens a lot of doors for me to be able to provide exceptional work to you. I’ll be working on a lot of new things. Keep an eye out in the future on this page for any deals, as they won’t be posted on my personal social media platforms. Thanks to everyone who has let me practice on them so far 😊

I’m realizing I should probably make use of this page more often. I am still not accepting paid jobs at this moment, until I get business details more established.

Please reach out if you have an idea for a shoot and want to work together and we can discuss how that works.

From now on, I will not be providing anybody with preview photos of any sessions except under the following conditions: previews will be uploaded as a gallery to my website, will have watermarks, and will not be available for full size downloading. This is to ensure that the quality of my work will be uniform and representative of my capabilities, to the furthest extent possible.

It’s also likely that I will be changing the name of this page once business items are more in order, and will post when I do.
