I met this family when they were still a duo with a dog, then when I was lucky enough to see them again, they had added a whole new human to the family - and look how freaking cute she is!!! Our first session together was a chilly winter evening in downtown Sylvania, so this sunny summer day with the four of them was such a beautiful contrast. Both sessions we've done together, they have brought their sweet Leia pup and parents along to help with her, and I don't know if I've ever seen a dog love their grandpa as much as Leia loves hers, lol - it was the cutest thing!

Next week I have 2 elopements AND a bigger wedding Saturday - I am so excited! Bring on all the love! I don't take on a ton of larger weddings anymore because I was missing out on too many events and weekends with my kids and family, but I still accept a handful each year and love doing them so much! & Elopements are just so chill & fun - I honestly just love when a couple does things their own way, whether it is a big or small celebration makes no difference to me, the love is still there.

Not much beats being able to watch the sun go down with your family at the flower farm!

There are endless reasons to love it there, but the fact that there is something new around every corner is one of the top 5 - your session gets to be a beautiful adventure for you and your kids, which makes it even more of an experience for them and less of a "chore" for the whole family. I'll throw the information link in the comments for those wanting more details =)

If flowers aren't your thing, but you still want a session that feels like an adventure, then the beach, smalltowns, farm, wooded creek, zoo, etc. might be a better fit for you and your family - I'm happy to plan something that feels more like 'you'.

I forgot to post yesterday - ahh! Here's this week's street photo Sunday post - a boat finding where to anchor just before the 4th of July Fireworks on the Maumee River in Downtown, Toledo last year. With Coop being a feral 2 year old, we are staying on land for the fireworks this year, but there is definitely something special seeing them from the water!

Have you always thought about having your session at the sunflower field, but never really know when to plan for it and end up missing it? Your best bet in this area is to plan for August, but sometimes you can find them in late July and early September, too. My sunflower mini sessions OFFICIALLY have August dates open, so check it out if you're in the market for a sunflower photo session of you and/or your loved ones.

This flower field is the absolute best, because not only do you get the sunflower field, but they also plant rows of lavender and zinnias and tons of other colorful and vibrant varieties that you're able to explore and use for your session, too. Between that and the fact that there is a play area for kids to hit up when we're done if you want to, swings, trucks and benches around the fields for photo opps, the affordable entry charge and the amazing view of the sunset sky it's an all around winner of a session location.

Endless beautiful areas to explore, snuggle, and just hang out with each other in while we get some amazing new photos for you.
