Yesterday was my first time at Nissequogue Golf Club and what a first impression! Rolling greens overlooking the St. James Bay and a historic 1920’s mansion were the perfect backdrops for Amanda and John’s wedding yesterday, and what a day we had. Blue skies and sunshine during the day and cotton candy skies at sunset - we truly couldn’t have asked for a better day for this sweet couple.

After one postponement and a last minute location change I *finally* got Sam and Mike in front of my camera for their engagement session. Not to brag but I think it was worth the wait. We may not have had a golden hour or a sunset but we had the most beautiful soft light on the water that really made the colors pop despite the grey clouds 😍

I cannot get over this day! It was my first time capturing a bride getting ready at the Be Beautiful Boutique (which is conveniently located just down the road from the Bourne Mansion) and trust me, it won’t be my last. And for those who have been following me long enough you know how I feel about pops of blue on a wedding day 😍 I opted to not share any detail images in this post (truly unlike me) but there were so many amazing moments captured I just couldn’t leave any out!
