Hello all! I wanted to address something publicly, recently I have had quiet a few inquiries on doing weddings. At this point in time, that is not something that I feel comfortable with. I'll explain below.

Photography for me is a hobby and a way to make some extra money here on the side, that being said, I DO NOT consider myself a 'professional' photographer. However; I am very confident with the photos that I produce and I am proud of the work that I publish. I do lack some of the equipment that would be needed to shoot weddings such as multiple camera bodies, flashes, light diffusers, etc. With this being a hobby, I do not plan to invest in any of that equipment at the time as it is very expensive.

Considering myself an amateur, if something happens where I am not satisfied with the photos, or more importantly YOU are not satisfied with the photos, I can remedy that by providing another time to re-take the pictures. Stating the obvious, if I mess up your wedding day, we can't just re-schedule and shoot it again. That leads to irreplaceable memories that are lost and cannot be recovered.

While I am humbled that some of you have reached out to ask me to photograph your big day, that is not something I plan to pursue at this time. Later on down the road I might reconsider. With all of that being said, I would be more than happy to take engagement sessions, graduation pictures, couples, christmas cards, etc. Thank you again for your continued support and allowing to capture some of your memories.

Had a fun little shoot with some of my cousins today. Shelby graduated from Washburn University majoring in Mass Media. Brandon graduated from Washburn Institute of Technology for Culinary Arts & Science. Both of them have very bright futures ahead of them.
