A little downtown. A little lake life. A little baseball.

Last night, I took Mason’s senior session from downtown to Lake Pomona, where his family spends time boating, and worked in one of his favorite things along the way—baseball.

His family joined us for some photos, too, which made for a good mix of senior portraits and family memories.

Different locations, different ideas, and a pretty great night to photograph it all.

MEET AVA - BLOOM SQUAD
Washburn Rural High School

Ava is outgoing, passionate and always willing to step outside her comfort zone. She tries to turn negativity into positivity and believes the world could use a little more kindness.

She plays tennis, is involved in KAY Club, and loves giving back to her community through volunteering. Whether she's helping with activities at nursing homes or making blankets to donate, she enjoys finding ways to make a difference.

Ava loves reading romance novels (especially Lynn Painter!), watching Lost, and listening to country music. One of her favorite memories is watching Lost with her dad, and she loves sharing her country music obsession with her sister Hannah.

I'm so excited to have Ava on the Bloom Squad and can't wait for all the fun ahead!

MEET ADDA - BLOOM SQUAD
Washburn Rural High School

Adda is compassionate, understanding and someone whose faith plays a big part in her life. She's learned a lot about perseverance through softball and believes that even when life gets hard, God always has a plan.

Softball is a huge part of Adda's life, and she's hoping to continue playing in college! She's also involved in Letters of Love, where she writes encouraging letters to children in hospitals. When she's not on the softball field, she loves getting outdoors with her family, especially hiking and exploring in Colorado.

When it comes to her favorites, you'll find The Vampire Diaries on repeat, The Hunger Games at the top of her movie list, and Niall Horan, Tate McRae and Megan Moroney on her playlist.

MEET NORA - BLOOM SQUAD
Seaman High School

Nora is sweet and caring. She's a little quiet when you first meet her, but once she gets comfortable, her goofy side comes out and she loves to laugh and make people smile.

She plays tennis, loves going on walks (as long as it's not 100 degrees ), and one of her favorite things is doing crafts with her mom. Even when the project doesn't turn out quite like they planned, she still loves the time they spend together.

Nora loves being herself and isn't afraid to do what makes her happy. She also loves a good mystery, a mix of pop and country music, and anything she can sing and dance along to.

I'm so happy Nora is part of this year's Bloom Squad!
