Some of you might know, but we’ve never made it official official. 😂

We’re Jess and TJ, and for the last few years we’ve been collaborating on big-energy ideas, sharing a studio, building dreams, and capturing a whole lot of memories along the way.

While we both love photographing families, we definitely have our lanes.

I send him the seniors.
He sends me the newborns.

Basically, he gets them when they’re ready to leave the nest, and I get them when they just got here. 😂

Somewhere in between, we both get to photograph the families, the chaos, the milestones, and all the good stuff that happens along the way.

There have been a lot of “hear me out…” ideas, last-minute set building, brainstorming, laughing, and probably a few ideas that should have stayed ideas.

But having someone to collaborate with makes this creative little world a whole lot more fun.

Different vibes. Same love for people, connection, and capturing the seasons that go way too fast. 🤎

Fun fact: I actually met TJ’s wife, Jessica, first back in my social work days — I even went to their wedding, like 12 years ago. 😂 So apparently this collaboration has been years in the making… we just didn’t know it yet.

Allow me to reintroduce myself because Jess Stitt Photography has had a little glow-up.

Photographer, mom of two boys, dog wrangler, baby snuggler, professional chaos embracer, and the person who will absolutely make a fool of herself to get your toddler to laugh. 😂

Over the years, I’ve gotten really clear about what I want your experience with me to feel like.

Less pressure.
More connection.
More laughing, snuggling, moving, playing and letting your kids be exactly who they are.

I don’t need perfect behavior or everyone looking at the camera.

I want the belly laughs, the baby curls, the tiny hands, the wild toddlers and all those little things that feel ordinary now—but somehow become the things we miss the most.

**Childhood, connection, and all the beautiful in-between.**

That’s what this rebrand is really about.

JSP isn’t becoming something completely different. It finally just looks and feels more like the business I’ve been building all along—warm, playful, nostalgic and centered around your people.

If you saw my last post, you know I shared a few things your newborn does not have to do during photos.

But the truth is, this applies to big siblings too.

They don’t have to sit perfectly still, smile on command, or cooperate every second. They can be shy, silly, curious, wiggly, hungry, or completely over pictures halfway through.

That’s okay.

I’m not expecting perfect behavior. I’m looking for connection, personality, and all the little things that make your kids who they are.

We’ll play, move, take breaks, and give them something to do besides constantly asking them to smile.

And somewhere in all that chaos, we’ll make the good stuff. 🤎

So please don’t spend your session worrying about whether your kids are behaving “right.”

Bring me your real kids.

Things your baby does not need to do for newborn photos:

-Sleep the entire session
-Never cry
-Be on a perfect feeding schedule
-Cooperate with every pose
-Basically…be anything other than a newborn

Babies run the show around here.

We feed them. Snuggle them. Take breaks. Change plans. And sometimes the photos I love most happen in the middle of all of that.

Your job isn’t to make your baby “good” for photos.

Your job is to show up and love on them.

I’ll take care of the rest. 🤎
