Hey, I think it’s time I reintroduce myself.
I’m TJ — the guy behind the camera at T23 Photography.
For the past five years, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to call photography my full time gig. I’ve built my LLC, met so many amazing families, and been trusted to capture some of life’s most memorable moments that mean the most.
On the weekends, you’ll usually find me photographing families — chasing little smiles, genuine laughs, messy hair, playful moments, and all the little things that make your family yours. During the week, while most of you are at school and work, I’m out photographing real estate.
And when I’m not behind the camera? I’m probably somewhere with my own family, typically doing something involving one of my kids’ school activities, or whatever adventure they’ve managed to pull us into.
Something I want you to know about the way I photograph your family.
I don’t want your session to feel like a photo shoot.
I don’t want you worrying about whether everyone is standing perfectly, whether your kids are smiling at the camera, or whether you’re “doing it right.”
I want it to feel effortless.
I want you to show up, breathe, play, laugh, snuggle, run around, and simply be together. I’ll guide you when you need it, but I’ll also step back and let the moments unfold naturally.
Because the photographs I love most aren’t always the perfectly posed ones.
They’re the ones where you can feel something.
The way your little one reaches for your hand.
The way your spouse looks at you when you aren’t paying attention.
The belly laughs. The chaos. The quiet moments.
The little pieces of your family that you may not realize you’ll miss someday.
My goal is simple: I want you to leave your session feeling like you spent it being yourselves—not trying to be perfect for a camera.
Five years into this journey, I’m still incredibly grateful that I get to do what I do.
Thank you to every family who has trusted me to tell a little piece of your story.
Let’s make something you’ll feel for years to come. 🤍
Shout out to my business partner Stitt Photography for taking these for me.
