last december i received an email about an adoption, and the family was uncertain as to when exactly the proceeding would take place.

this july i received an email from emily that they had a finalized date. my heart was so elated.

this was my first adoption hearing, but i had been in the space before as a 17 year old intern for CASA (some time ago).

so to witness a day full of emotion from anxiousness to overwhelm to joy and LOVE, it was an overwhelming feeling.

so honored, to capture this sweet girls forever. to witness not just her beautiful smile, but to know that she is so loved and admired by a huge village of people.

thank you to this family for trusting me with this moment.

THURSDAY AUGUST 20 … preview our fall menu during our pop-up open play 10a-1p! Our photographer will be here to get some gorgeous photos of our fall drinks, which means we need some caffeine-deprived grown ups to order + drink them ☕️

🍁 FULL fall menu available for preview in store only. Open play admission is NOT required to grab a drink! Walk-in coffee counter orders are welcome, but the fall menu will not be viewable online yet!
