Sunset series:

Positioned on the bluff's edge above El Matador Beach in Malibu, where I spent this past Sunday, I was able to capture some close gull flybys a few times. The best is seen here along with an eye-popping sunset in Point Dume.

This was from a recent shoot of the Rancho Santa Margarita peewee Pirates.

Their coach, Sean, found me online and hired me to shoot their "night" game. I guess the 4-6 year old dingers play in the morning?

I loved every minute of this shoot and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

This delicate white butterfly was maybe 1 1/2 inches across and it was surrounded by Monarchs so it really stood out to me. Being able to see it up close with the sun's light illuminating it's semi-transparent wings makew me smile. What a beautiful little creature.
